Kathryn Jilek, LSW

(she/her/hers)

I have been practicing social work for over 14 years. I have had the pleasure of working with a variety of individuals ranging from prenatal to over 100 years old from different racial, ethnic, religious social economic groups. I have worked with individuals struggling with marital and family issues, mental health issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, bipolar, oppositional defiant disorder, and substance/alcohol use.

I have also worked with individuals struggling with suicidal thoughts/behaviors, on the spectrum and hospice patients. The modalities that I provide include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialect Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focus Therapy (SFT). Different clinical roles included school counselor, case manager, clinical social worker, and family clinician.

Psychological, physical and emotional states affect one's ability to to manage everyday stressors. You don't have to be alone with your life struggles. It would be my honor to assist you on your wellness journey. Remember that "you are worthy of happiness and a peace of mind and that it is okay not to be okay."
