Welcome to Emotion Control.  Our team provides counseling, therapy, and skills training to people with almost every type of diagnosable mental illness.

We also work with people who are having short-term emotional or behavioral difficulties and those who just want to develop skills to improve their quality of life.

Over the years, we have chosen to specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness Training. 

We teach DBT and Mindfulness skills because they help people achieve a greater level of self awareness, which in turn gives them more control over their behaviors and actions.

In our opinion, DBT is the best form of counseling and therapy. It provides a framework that allows us to customize our services to each client, which ultimately leads to a higher success rate.

The techniques we have adopted are the same ones used by Academy Award winners, Grammy Award winning artists, world champion athletes, world renowned scientists, and people like you and me.
